Pratiksha Hospital on 1st December, observed World AIDS Day by participating in a rally organized by Assam State AIDS Control Society. The theme of the event was “Getting to Zero- Zero HIV AIDS, Zero new HIV infections, Zero discrimination and zero AIDS-related deaths”. The rally was attended by a 45 member strong team from Pratiksha. It travelled from Khanapara to, Six Mile in GS Road and then routed back to Panjabari, spreading awareness among people about prevention and control of AIDS. The rally was followed by a public meeting held at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakhetra at Panjabari, which was attended by Honorable Minister, Health and Family Welfare of Assam, Dr. Nazrul Islam.
